successful days.

Today, I got a fancy new Austin public library card. Last week, I was turned down. Kinda sad, huh? I didn't have a proof of residence. Today, I also became employed.

Yes, I now have a job!

I am now a proud member of the workforce! Well... the gaming workforce. Today, I was officially hired at a company that does audio/music for video games. I'm very excited to sink my teeth in and learn sound design and etc. etc. from professionals. I'm very excited. You may not be able to tell... but I'm rather excited.

Eric and I celebrated today by ordering a dozen fantastic cookies from Tiff's Treats. I had never tried Tiff's before, and had an awful time narrowing down my cookie choices... so we left with a lovely assortment of oatmeal raisin, M&M chocolate chip, snickerdoodles, and peanut butter cookies. YUM! Eric says they're a bit too sweet for him, but I think they're grand, nicely squishy, and an appropriately perfect size. I say... 9/10.

We also had a fun time (or at least I did) finding the Chinese fastfood place, Panda Express. Not really Chinese cuisine... but oddly amusing. I happen to like their silly rendition of orange chicken.

At home we had a grand feast and watched an episode of Leverage.

I'd say today was rather successful.

10/10
