hello, September.

school and work have been keeping me quite busy lately! i've got a couple tests, a quiz, and two projects due this week and stuff for next week as well. i'm almost done with one of the theme songs for a school project, and i hope it turns out well >_<. i'm quite nervous about presenting things, it's rather silly. i suppose the worst that could happen is that i would have to redo it, but at least i can show that i'm putting in work and trying to do my best! :) hopefully all will go well, i'll just have to trudge through the next two weeks. one the bright side, our FSA pool party is next friday, and there is a balloon festival next weekend which i'd like to attend. i can't remember if i went last year or the year before, but they had nice fireworks. :)

on another note, i won a 2GB sandisk flashdrive at school today! we were sent out a mass survey for school and told that the first 10 students to complete the survey and show up at the office would win a flashdrive. i figured, hey, why not? :) i'm quite pleased, it's actually exactly the same as my current one.

somehow, i missed one of the timesheets for the last paycheck and now i have two weeks worth of money missing >_<. i was thinking about working less and put in the old hours (which we can do) so that i could get paid for the amount i worked before, but we've been so busy with our current research, i feel like it would be unacceptable to take off. ooh well. . . i suppose i'll figure it out some time. >_<

and finally, i found this chalk drawing up on one of our campus walls. i'm quite pleased. :)
