oh, happy week!

I've had a great week (well, thus far, and mostly good)!

Tuesday:
I finally bought a desk for my soon-to-be complete, rig! It took forever to assemble though, since I don't have a power drill, but I'm really happy with the result!

Josh and I also decided to check out Noodle Bar. I had tried to go there once, but stood at the front desk for about 15 minutes (within the view of the employees. . . and the restaurant was empty), but left after no one came to help. Regardless, we decided to give it another go. The restaurant is small, but looks well kept and colorful. The menu, however, was a bit lackluster, with unprofessional, small pictures of entrees randomly placed without notions as to what they were depicting. It was a bit difficult picking out an entree; nothing really jumped out at me. I ended up ordering a fried rice platter which came with shrimp, chicken, and beef. The tea was terrible, and the waitress was overly attentive and would frequent the table far too much. I wasn't too pleased with the entree, either. The rice was poorly cooked, and I had about two pieces of shrimp in the rice. The waitress later dropped the bill, and while I was on the phone, she stood there waiting for me to pay my bill. It was awkward. Very, very awkward. Even more so since we were the only people in the restaurant. I continued with my phone conversation, slightly offended as she stood there waiting. She eventually left, and while Josh and I were just sitting there chatting, she asked if I was about to pay. I think, having worked in a restaurant before, I was just appalled at her etiquette. So. . . here's what I say:

Noodle Bar: 3/10

Harsh, but I don't believe I'll be going back again. . .

Afterwards, I took Josh to Yogurtland, and to H-Mart, an Asian grocery market. I had never been to H-Mart, and was pleasantly surprised! It's rather large inside and looks very nice. I'm also pleased to say that I now have a square (well. . . rectangular) pan! YAY!

Wednesday:
I had a very successful meeting with my boss and co-worker regarding the eye tracking data and analysis we are working on! It's quite a relief that we've determined how we are going to proceed from here. My night class was also pleasant; within the sound team, we discussed things that we'll be working on and etc., AND got out early! YAY! Afterwards, I went over to a friend's place, and went to Yogurtland!!! YAY!!!! I also had a semi-successful time playing Day of Defeat with my boyfriend (and captured the tank several times, woot!)

Thursday:
I slept in a great amount, had a tolerable day of my theory class, and apparently, my other class was canceled. :) I ate lunch with a few friends, and returned home to loaf and check on the status of my Cubase 4 Educational Edition; it should be here by Tuesday!

Tomorrow, I'll be meeting up with my prospective team for CGEC this year. I believe our project this year will be on a smaller scale, but I'm a bit worried about the program we'll be using. I hope that I'll be able to have flexibility with music. I also might be going to see a movie later tomorrow. :)

I hope the rest of the week pans out nicely. :)
