anniversaries.

Tuesday marked my first month living in Austin. Trees, snow cones, Eric, raccoons, swimming, fleas(?), it's all been nice in some weird way or another.

So to commemorate my first month, I drove home to Dallas.

It's actually been pretty pleasant, really. My parents are happy to have me home, and I'm really enjoying seeing a few friendly faces :). But as much as I enjoy seeing friends, I can't help but think of how beautiful and green Austin is in comparison.

Wednesday, I had to present at UTD for the individuals who are funding the iPhone game I'm working on as well as a few other business men. Goodness! I hate presenting! Luckily, the 3 other teammates that were able to make it were pretty at ease and helped calm my nerves a bit. Overall, it went really well... from 11:30-4ish? We were fed lunch, chatted about lawyers, and listened to another group that presented as well. Success!

Wednesday also marked Eric's first day at Super Happy Fun Fun, the company that has picked him after his previous company died. Huzzah for Eric! I'm glad things have panned out well. Now I just need to find my job, too. :)

Speaking of jobs, I'm also looking into getting business cards made. I've been asked several times if I have any, and it would be great for networking as well. I came across a great design, and Eric has offered to help out as well. I'd love to have a simple, but unique card.

aw, the imagery that the divorce business card leaves me so sad. it's clever, but sad.

haha you should make your business card be burnt CDs of some music clips, lol although that would be pretty hard to keep in a business card case, huh? :P

btw, thanks so much for visiting this weekend! It was so great to see you and talk for forever! love you! =)
