The other day, Eric and I ate dinner with his family.Most importantly, his sister, Krista, mentioned that there is a chocolate festival next month. That's right- a chocolate festival!
The Austin Chocolate Festival... I like the sound of that! For $21.65 (tax included), you are given a 2 hour timeslot- kinda pricey, but proceeds are for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
The website describes it as such:
The chocolate lovers event consists of local chocolatiers and chocolate artisans including restaurants, bakeries, chocolatiers, patisseries, authors, and catering companies. The vendors will compete against each other in several categories, offer samples to festival guests, and sell their products.
Karen, maybe you should schedule a short vacation next month and we'll bring along Joanne!

Chocolate Festival?! Yum! I'll definitely consider going, you just have to remind me. =)
Btw, I'm thinking of going to Austin to visit everyone this coming up weekend (August 14-17, probably). Usually I stay with Jessica, but she might be busy. I was thinking of staying with you or Joanne, if that's okay?? (It's okay if you are busy or something, my visit is still tentative..)
oh! i actually might be in Dallas for the beginning part of your visit? well... possibly?
