little surprises.
So today was filled with little surprises.I started off today well rested (it's been a while!), and cooked breakfast in the shower. Okay, okay, not as odd as it sounds, I promise. I turned on the rice cooker, cooked an egg on super low, and threw things into the oven. After a quick shower (and increasing the stove heat), I had breakfast all nice and ready!
Work went by pretty quickly, surprisingly, and I'm proud to say I got a large chunk done. I had lunch around 3-ish (a turkey, lettuce, and tomato wrap). The wrap was kinda dry, but I was really surprised after my first bite to find bacon (it wasn't listed on the description)! Of course, it wouldn't be a good surprise if I couldn't eat pork, but hoorah for bacon!
I haven't been practicing much for guitar (which makes me feel a bit guilty), and I was really considering skipping today. I toughed it out though, and I'm glad I did! Towards the end of the class, these two ladies (and a baby!) came in declaring it was our professor's birthday! So we all put our guitars down and sang happy birthday (since no one knew how to play it, haha)! They brought mini cupcakes, cookies, and juice boxes. . . it was wonderful! The baby was terribly cute, too, strapped on the mom with his chill hat and chill expression. :)
On the way back with Josh, we were discussing Wishbone (you know, the one with the dog who plays roles in famous books/stories/plays?), when I sensed someone behind me. . . Lo and behold, it was Matt in a light sweater (he normally wears dark clothing)! I haven't seen him in a while, and he let me in on his busy schedule and told me that he'll be going to A&M for med school. Good job, Matt!
Unfortunately, I still have problems feeling pretty tired throughout the day, and I wasn't too excited about going to our FSA meeting (a nap would have been fabulous). I'm glad I went though. Our president lead us through a quick and organized meeting. It was very pleasant, and I think our member shirts are nice.
Let's see.
I suppose that's all.

your FSA shirt is still at my house!
Ahh Wishbone...my mom had a friend that worked for the show and I got free stuff. Loved that dog--"What's the storyyyyyy, Wishbone!" The actors in that show were so horrible, but I guess I would be pissed, too, if I had to act opposite a dog.
We need to find a time to hang out this weekend (at night) to offset the overwhelmingnessnessness that is my weekend. :)
