who's got the time?

So I called my mom today as I was feeling a little down. We shared work stories, food cravings, and medical opinions. My mom seems pretty proud of my hard work, though she doesn't quite understand it, and I'm really thankful. Sometimes it's a funny feeling, and I really miss my mom.

We also talked about Kim's boyfriend. On Thursday, he was sent to the airbase in Utah, but not without leaving Kimmie with a thoughtful Valentine's Day present, some chocolate for my mom, and a wonderful letter for my parents expressing his gratitude for their hospitality and etc. I'm quite proud of Derek's thoughtfulness, and am glad that my parents gave him a chance and were able to see what a caring and wonderful guy he is to my sister. He left a great impression on my parents, and they fully acknowledge that. Supposedly, he can only come and visit twice a year now. I can only hope the best for their relationship, and look forward to seeing him when he comes to visit.

Afterwards, I got a call from a friend I haven't spoken to for a while, saying that she meant to call yesterday to remind me that she loves and misses me. And it was just that, simple and sweet. Calls like that are such wonderful treats. It's nice to know you're on someone's mind. :)

I've been disappointed in a few things lately, and today was no exception. I bought a nice little bottle of red wine (though not as yummy as the one Joanne, Karen, and I had) and figured I'd share a little with Josh when he came to drop by. Just to clarify, I've been wanting to experiment cooking with red wine, as I've heard it's quite tasty (and I figured I could sample a little)! Anyways,so I take off to my room with my glass, leaving him with one while he studies in the living room, and as I'm going through my Cognitive Psychology notes, I hear it. . . the sound of glass sliding and liquid spilling.

That's right. He spilled the red wine. . . onto my carpet (and my puzzle).

Well. . . I don't know what to say. After cleaning it up a bit, I suppose only time will tell.

Speaking of time, I have yet to finish studying for my test tomorrow, and I haven't had a chance to get around to my composition. Somehow my weekends fly too quickly.

We should do a stockpile of La Sera bottles. I feel so fancy and sophisticated now that I found a red wine I like. :P

And yes, in response to your previous post, my room always gets messier when my life is hectic and busy. My laundry is a horrible mess as we speak, but I managed to mildly clean my room the other day since you guys were coming over. :P

La Sera was lovely. I really like that it didn't a heavy taste to it and was kinda bubbly!

I bet it would taste great with the bags of chocolate that I got at Target! Tuesday, let's feast! :)

ooo awesome idea! I know that you can find it at Central Marker, bc that's where Joanne buys it! Maybe you or Joanne can buy it before we meet on Tuesday (please). If I get out of class early, I might be able to.
