chocoholics

Today my boss brought me a fantastic John Kelly dark chocolate truffle fudge bar!

Though I had previously declined her offer of chocolate, she brought it over this morning, claiming that it would change my life.

Indeed, it was amazing, and I shared the happiness with one of my co-workers.

Today was also my dad's birthday, so I made a trip home (which was the first in a little more than 2 months). It really was a bit odd, to tell you the truth. My family recently moved to a new house a few streets away (actually, they did towards the later part of summer), and I had a bit of difficulty remembering how to get there. The house is quite pretty, and larger than our old home, which I find odd, since my sister will be graduating high school in 2 years. . . To me, the house seems more like a model home, and while it may be visually appealing, it lacks the homeliness that a home should have. Regardless, I did have a bit of fun looking around (seeing as how I've only been there once after the house was completely built). :)

On another note, I went to Austin Thursday night till Sunday! I'll have to post up some pictures and a summary tomorrow (well. . . today, technically)!
