let's call this home.

Eric came Friday night. I walked back from Errol's apartment around 11:30 PM, and could see my apartment light on from outside. I really missed it. I missed having someone to go home to.

On Saturday, we went to the Dallas Aquarium. I was reaaaalllly excited. I LOVE aquariums, and have been wanting to go to the one downtown for a long time (though my sister said I wouldn't like it b/c it's fairly small.). Kim was right, but I think they did a very good job with their layout and packing as much as possible. :) Anyways. . . yes, I really love aquariums (speaking of aquariums, my new algae eater is AMAZING!).

Later, we went home-home to visit my family and my tito visiting from the Philippines. It's been quite some time since I've seen my tito. . . probably somewhere around 6-8 years. I always seem to be unable to go visit in the Philippines due to work or school schedules, so that bites, but it's great to see my tito is still both kind and silly. :)

Sunday, Eric and I journeyed to buy him some asiany rice to take back to Austin. H-mart (the store we went to) is always fun to visit, and I saw a terribly cute panda purse and really wanted to get some silly asian pictures done, though both were a bit over priced. Booooooo. We also toured Yogurtland (which I still have yet to take pictures of), before driving back home.

We took a short nap after putting the homemade pumpkin bread into the oven, and woke to find the sky dark. It was time for him to go home.

Later Sunday night, we had a small gathering of friends to celebrate Thanksgiving together, since most of them would be traveling home. It was a great idea, and I really enjoyed spending my time with everyone. I hope that in the future, I can be surrounded with people as caring, fun, and genuine as them. I really am terribly thankful.
