hoorah for koalas!
Yes, that's right. I "adopted" a koala for my sister's Christmas gift through The Koala Preservation Society. Her name is Bago Babe, and she is uber cute. Apparently, she was prone to grinding her teeth, and had an offensive odor to her. <3
Hopefully, I'll receive the adoption package before Christmas (and potentially my trip to Austin). It's fairly cute. It comes with an adoption certificate (hehe), photo, story about the adopted koala, a few other tidbits, and my favorite. . . a sticker which reads, “I Have Adopted A Wild Koala”. :D
I like it. It makes for a fairly unique gift, and I get the benefit of knowing I'm benefiting. :)
