late night visits.
So last night, I made the 3.5 hour trek to Austin around 8:30, and while a few of my friends expressed concern about late night driving, I was fairly confident that it would be alright. I really prefer night driving over any other time, actually. It's much more comfortable than having the blaring sun in your eyes (though at night you might be tailed by those people with uber bright lights!). But I do have one tip of advice. Children, teenagers, adults, and any other living being, please don't find it appropriate to run across the street at night (especially if you're wearing dark clothing)! Really now! I'm glad I pay attention, or else some of these daredevils wouldn't still be around. >_<Speaking of daredevils, somewhere close to Belton, a cop car whizzed by at around 90-95 MPH w/o their sirens or flashing lights on. . . why? Who knows. . . all I know is that they never turned on any warning, and the car just kind of weaved through the night traffic. . .
Anyways, so here I am safe and sound in Eric's apartment. My plans for this weekend? Working on school stuff. >_< Yes, that's right. I have quite a bit of dialogue editing, sound creating, and etc. that I need to get done ASAP. So, hopefully I'll get a bit done before he comes back from work today. I also just realized how badly my laptop is trudging along. . . apparently I only had 3.5 GB of space left! So. . . I'm on a mission to free up some room. . . and now I'm sitting at 25.0 GB. Crazy, huh? I finally transferred all of my pics onto my portable hard drive, as well as deleted a couple programs. Goodness!
Anyways, I'm potentially going to start working. . . well, after I find some food and etc. :)

It drives me crazy when people run across the street at night when I'm driving. Scares the daylights out of me! I thank my "guardian angel" that I've never hit anyone because I couldn't see them!
