Friday was particularly nice.

Although I had this god awful headache at work, watching VO sessions was fantastic! We left around 4:30 so that I could make it back to campus for the awards ceremony at 5:30, but we got stuck in traffic until 5:40. >_< By the time I made it back to campus, I really thought I missed the announcement, but apparently, I didn't. Oh well, I didn't even bother to question it. :)

This year, the CGEC projects had definitely improved from the games made last year. It's wonderful to think how the competition will only improve (should only!) from here on. In the end, we won 1st place ($10,000), and an additional $25,000 for further development of our iPhone game. We will be receiving guidance from staff and industry professionals over the summer so as to polish our game for publishing.




29201 and co. went out to celebrate Nicole's 23rd b-day at Pete's Piano and Bar (is that what it was called?). I think I liked Sherlock's better, but the company was nice :). The highlight of the night? Hearing Nicolo talk about pokemon. :)
